As I stated in the previous entry, I signed up to be a mark. rep a month ago. This morning, I got this email:
Recently, the California Budget Conference Committee approved a proposal that would require a three percent withholding for all independent contractors. If it's passed, the proposal would require Avon (and all other direct selling companies) to withhold 3% of your projected earnings as an independent Representative and remit that 3% to the State of California.
I'm pretty peeved about this email. There are so many reasons why California gets on my nerves and this just adds to all the reasons why. Seriously California, wtf are you doing.
My Mark. rep kit and my first Mark. haul finally came in today! Yayyy! I'm super excited to try all this stuff out! I got a free gift for being a Mark. rep too, The Flip For It kit.
I am SO impressed by the way Mark. packaged my stuff! I had made an AVON haul a month ago and their packaging was horrible! All of my boxes were damaged, soaked in coffee (wtf?!) and there was just one sheet of tissue paper and not even a full sheet!
With Mark. they wrapped all of my stuff in bubble wrap, they were also wrapped in tissue paper. Everything came nice and undamaged. I'm really really impressed!
I just made another order for face lotions and cleansers. I'm so excited!!

I'm a brand new Mark. rep, as in... I signed up 3 days ago new lol. I'm a beauty blogger on blogspot just trying to find where she fits. I'm still fairly new to makeup, I didnt really start getting into it until late last year. I've tried many different brands and decided that I wanted to focus a lot of my time on the lesser known brands like Mark, ELF and FLIRT!. Besides those three my other favorite brands also include NYX and MAC.
I gave myself a challenge (one out of many) to not buy any full sized MAC brush and find one that's exactly or BETTER than one that MAC can offer. So far, I'm doing great. So great that I even stopped using my MAC limited edition brushes because I've found brushes that were SO much better!
I hope to update this journal with beauty tips and take you on my journey with me as I learn more about make up!
